香港中文大學醫院(中大醫院)是一所非牟利、私營教學醫院,由香港中文大學全資擁有。貫徹醫院非牟利的宗旨,我們將所有盈餘投放於醫院及香港中文大學醫學院,以支持醫院的長遠發展及醫學院的科研和教學工作。本項目為一棟14層高醫院,樓面面積約為95,000平方米,將會提供超過500張病床。醫院設計經週全的考慮,便利不同年齡的人士使用,包括病人、訪客及職員。我們簡化服務流程,以能更全面配合病人需要,減低不必要的輪候及轉介。

中大醫院引入多功能系統以達至智慧醫院。在建築期內,本項目採用多種創新建造科技及數碼管理系統,使中大醫院成為創新建造技術的領先項目。

  • Building entrance is convenience for users using public transport to access to the building
  • Majority of the Urban Design Guidelines in HKPSG complied

  • Embodied energy assessment through Life Cycle Assessment conducted 
  • Full testing and commissioning report with operation and maintenance manual 
  • Full metering and monitoring system on energy use
  • Building orientation optimization, spatial planning optimization, permeability for natural ventilation and external shading devices are adopted 

Water Use

  • >35% fresh water saving
  • >45% reduction in effluent discharge 
  • >23% reduction in fresh water by harvested rainwater for irrigation

Indoor Environmental Quality

  • >96% of applicable security sub-items adopted
  • All applicable plumbing and drainage design for reducing potential transmission of harmful bacteria viruses or odours adopted
  • All applicable air conditioning system design for reducing the risk of Legionnaires Disease adopted
  • Excellent Class in Indoor Air Quality Certification 
  • Adequate fresh air supply for comment areas
  • Good lighting quality with occupancy sensors for lighting control
  • Full Barrier Free Access provision
  • Adequate amenity features provided for the benefit of building users

Innovations and Additions

  • >60% of parking space provided with EV charging facilities
  • Food waste decomposer provided for processing over 13% of the food waste generated
