Kowloon City No. 1 and No. 2 Sewage Pumping Stations together with the associated sewers are important elements of the "Sewage Interception Scheme in Kowloon City". Owing to aging of existing sewers and future developments of the upstream catchment, these two pumping stations are badly needed to resolve the hygienic problems in these areas.
