The new academic building - Creative Humanities Hub located at the campus of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Hang Shin Link, Siu Lek Yuen, the new 6-storey academic building focused on green building practices.
With BEAM Plus being adopted as a framework for sustainability, this development incorporates a range of major green features to create a sustainable and energy-efficient environment.
From building design to construction, green features have been incorporated in every aspect to reduce the carbon footprint, such as the highest efficiency of energy and water facilities, eco-friendly construction materials, integrated design with the support of BIM and other documentation systems.

Utilise the existing district cooling system and with well-designed building facade, reducing energy consumption by more than 18.6% when compared to the baseline value.
Promote the use of clean, renewable energy source by installing solar panels on the roof and upper roof, offsetting over 4.1% of projected annual energy consumption, and promoting the use of clean, renewable energy sources.
Adopt high water efficient sanitary fitments, resulting in savings of over 30% in potable water usage and over 20% in non-potable water usage.
