Green Features

Site Aspects

  • Achieve 100% on relevant sub-items of Urban Design Guidelines in the Hong Kong Planning Standards and Guidelines.
  • Provide more than 30% of soft landscape coverage.
  • Apply high solar reflectance index (SRI at least = 78) roof material.

Materials Aspects

  • Use sustainable forest products that account for at least 50% of all timber materials/products.
  • Use regional materials that were extracted and manufactured within 800km from the site which accounts for at least 20% of all building materials/products.

Energy Use

  • Use of energy efficient water-cooled chiller, VRV and split type air conditioning units that have a coefficient of performance (COP) higher than that in BEC 2018
  • Use of LED lighting fittings to reduce the electrical consumption

Water Use

  • Save over 40% of potable water and 40% of effluent discharge with the provision of water efficient sanitary devices

Indoor Environmental Quality

  • Provide sufficient fresh air and air change in common areas and increased ventilation in normally occupied areas
  • Adopt acoustic design in rooms such as activity room, co-working space, guest room where speech intelligibility is important
  • Target IAQ Scheme Good Class or better

Innovations and Additions

  • Provide twin water tanks for potable and flushing water system
