MOS Centre is a 2-storey shopping arcade in Ma On Shan, covering a total space of 95,000 sq. ft. with a carpark. MOS Centre strives to improve energy efficiency, such as replacement of T8 fluorescent tubes to LED tubes. MOS Centre further promotes environmental protection to stakeholders through various channels and engage them in green initiatives.

Green Features

Management

  • Provision of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the carpark to promote the use of green vehicles.
  • Installation of the glass canopy to improve natural daylight in the property and further reduce electricity consumption.
  • Adoption of LED lighting for its high energy efficiency, longer life span, relatively low energy consumption and maintenance costs, and reliability in terms of safety.
  • Joint efforts with customers through promotion of recycling activities such as collection of recyclables peach blossom trees, Christmas trees, etc.
