港珠澳大橋香港口岸是位於香港國際機場東北面一個面積約一百五十公頃的人工島上的跨境設施,它是到大灣區的重要連接通道。從2018年10月24日營運開始,每天24小時供旅客和車輛使用。

旅檢大樓是香港口岸最大的地標式建築物,為使用港珠澳大橋進出香港的旅客提供通關設施,每天可處理最多17萬名旅客。 旅客可經由2個公共運輸交匯處和香港口岸的停車場到達旅檢大樓。

環保特點

用地與室外環境

  • 大樓設計採集自然光並與周邊建築物提供一個良好的通風環境。
  • 2個公共運輸交匯處為該建築物提供了良好的公共交通。
  • 旅檢大樓大堂的結構柱網為16.5 x 21米的寛闊間距,可提高大堂空間的靈活性。

能源使用

  • 高性能建築外牆可減少吸收太陽熱能。
  • 利用高效能區域海水供冷系統提供中央空調。
  • 旅檢大樓的屋頂使用了擋板遮光裝置和天窗,可使自然光有效地進入旅檢大樓,同時減少吸收熱能。 日光傳感器可根據日光水平調節燈光,以減少日間的用電量。

用材

  • 旅檢大樓的屋頂設計具有構件式、重複性和對稱性的概念,並且採用組裝合成技術,這些組件在現場安裝,從而提高了設計和施工效率。
  • 旅檢大樓周圍的行人路為首條由香港特別行政區政府路政署維修而採用多孔排水鋪路磚的行人路。

用水

  • 旅檢大樓採用再造水作為沖廁水,採用了雨水收集系統作為灌溉用水,並採用低流量的潔具,從而大量節水。

室內環境質素

  • 旅檢大樓的室內計為使用者提供優質的室內環境。

創新

  • 旅檢大樓採用了建築信息模擬技術進行碰撞分析和施工計劃。

故事

As part of the Government of HKSAR’s initiative to encourage the construction of green buildings in Hong Kong, the then Environmental, Transport and Works Bureau issued a technical circular (ETWB TC(W) No. 16/2005) requiring all works departments to adopt energy efficient features and renewable energy technologies in government project and installations wherever practicable. Under the ETWB TC(W) No. 16/2005, all new government buildings with construction floor area of more than 10,000m2 should aim to obtain the second highest grade or above under an internationally or locally recognized building environmental assessment system. The PCB was enrolled in the local Hong Kong Green Building Council BEAM Plus scheme with target grading of Platinum which is the highest possible grading under the BEAM Plus scheme.

The Government’s policy was a large driver in the planning and design stages of the PCB and those island-wide green facilities (e.g. District Seawater Cooling System and Reclaimed Water System) which brought about significant environmental benefits for most of the HZMB HKP island users. The use of District Seawater Cooling System consumes less electrical energy and hence produces less greenhouse gases and contaminants to the environment; whilst the use of Reclaimed Water System for flush water supply, in addition to saving water, reduces the amount of treated effluent being discharged to the adjacent water body and thus benefits the North Western Water Control Zone water quality.

Since PCB’s commissioning, building users including both cross boundary passengers and government officers using the PCB and the PCB’s neighbors would have benefited from the provisions credited under the BEAM Plus scheme as described below. PCB’s building users would have direct exposure and benefit from well-designed indoor air, acoustic, thermal and lighting quality. PCB’s neighbors would benefit from the well-designed PCB surrounding environment with adequate daylight intake, wind amplification compliance and adequate air ventilation.
