The Development consists of a 6-storey building. It provides 140 rental flats with sizes of 22 sq.m. and 32 sq.m. which are suitable for families of one to four members. Commercial outlets and car parking spaces are accommodated on the ground floor.  A podium garden accessible to the residents is on the first floor and includes a play area, a sitting area and an elderly activity area.  The users enjoy a view towards the promenade of Sha Tau Kok at the podium garden.

Site Aspects

  • 21% area of greenery has been provided
  • 100% sub-items of the HKPSG urban design guidelines have been achieved
  • The Air, Noise and Water Pollution Control Ordinances have not been violated
  • The basic services, recreational facilities and public transport are within 500m walking distance from the Development

Materials Aspects

  • No virgin timber were used for temporary works during both foundation and superstructure stages. Non-CFC based refrigerants have been used.
  • Over 20% of building materials were manufactured regionally

Energy Use

  • Low OTTV design
  • Low lighting power density
  • Low power consumption in vertical transportation

Water Use

  • 16% of annual water saving by using low flow water saving fixtures has been achieved
  • 37% reduction in effluent discharge volumes by using dual flushing devices has been achieved

Indoor Environmental Quality

  • The interior lighting in normally non-occupied areas has been well designed in terms of lighting level and glare

Innovations and Additions

  • 100% sub-items of the HKPSG urban design guidelines have been achieved
  • Appropriate design measures have been implemented to contribute positively to the ecological values of the site
